Your Coach Training is facilitated by Katherine Woodward Thomas and a select group of Katherine’s Certified Calling in “The One” Coaches who have studied with her for years. All of our esteemed Faculty Coaches have extensive experience in mentoring & supervising Coaches-in-Training. Faculty Coaches have also built their own successful private coaching practices and are therefore fully equipped to support you both personally and professionally as you move through your training.

What most qualifies you to become a Calling in “The One” Coach is your commitment to living in alignment with the principles laid out in Katherine’s bestselling book, Calling in “The One:” 7 Weeks to Attract the Love of Your Life. This means that whether or not you are currently in a committed relationship, what qualifies you to become a Calling in “The One” coach is your commitment to growing and evolving your own capacity to love and be loved. Less than half of our coaches come into the training already in a relationship, and yet most train with us as a means to cause a breakthrough in their own love lives, as becoming a Calling in “The One” Coach provides a solid structure for gaining mastery over the material. We also believe (and have seen time and time again!) that the best way to fast-track your own breakthrough is to take a stand to support the breakthrough of others.

Faculty Coaches have also built their own successful private coaching practices and are therefore fully equipped to support you both personally and professionally as you move through your training.

When you register, you will be granted immediate access to the Course Pre-Work to orient you to the Fundamentals of Coaching. The Course Pre-Work consists of 2 pre-recorded classrooms with Katherine. It is also highly recommended to read and complete the exercises in the Calling in “The One” book before your training begins.

We suggest that you set your fees according to the going rate for coaching in the area where you live if you plan on doing live sessions, as well as according to your previous experience and already existing credentials that you may have in a related field such as coaching and/or counseling. Calling in “The One” Coaches typically charge anywhere from $125 for a beginning coach to $350 an hour for a more seasoned practitioner. Many coaches also offer 8-session coaching packages, with one Introductory Session followed by one session for each of the 7 steps of the Calling in “The One” process. Fees for those packages will generally range from $1000 for newer coaches to $2500 or more for seasoned coaches.(So, you can recoup your investment in the training with your first few clients!)

When you become a Calling in “The One” Coach, you work for yourself and have full control over your schedule, the amount of clients you decide to take on, as well as the specific client base you may wish to specialize in (for example, “silver seekers,” a LGBT clientele or divorcees who are ready to call in new love, etc.) and where you set up your base in the world. Some graduates take up coaching as a full-time career. Others use it to augment their income part-time. Some to simply supplement other creative adventures on an as-needed basis!

Calling in “The One” is an internationally recognized brand, so you have the momentum of a successful program that is already acclaimed and known throughout the world. In addition, you will receive 3 months of instruction dedicated to launching and marketing your business. Finally, you will have the exclusive opportunity to join Katherine’s ongoing Supervision & Development Program for Certified Coaches which will give you access to also being listed in the Online Coach Directory, which is the first place many of Katherine’s followers turn to when seeking a coach to support their transformational journey.

Many clients will choose to continue working with you after they have completed the initial 7-Step coaching package. Clients may wish to continue to work with you to integrate the many changes they will have experienced through their work with you. You will be trained in how to create a structure to support clients to achieve their relationship goals in an ongoing way.

You will have the option to work virtually and/or create an office space from anywhere in the world! Whether you work in your home or in an office, virtually or otherwise, you simply want to find a space that is comfortable, professional and private, so clients feel safe and comfortable enough to enter into deeply intimate, self-reflective, and authentic conversations.

Absolutely not! Your business is yours and all monies that you earn are yours to keep. Your investment fee with us is paid up front and there are no other costs involved, other than the costs you may incur in doing business (such as setting up an office space, marketing materials, etc.).

Absolutely not! Just like any other well-earned degree that you can hang on your wall, your coaching credential is yours to keep for all eternity.

Our organization will refer clients to those Certified Coaches who are participating in Katherine’s ongoing Supervision & Development Program for Certified Coaches. Those are also the coaches who will be listed in Katherine’s Online Coach Directories. We strongly encourage certified coaches to stay with us after receiving certification by joining Katherine’s ongoing supervision program, but it is not required. Once you receive your Coach Certification from us, you need not pay any additional fees and/or receive any additional training in order to keep it.

In summary, you must complete the following to be Certified as a Calling in “The One” Coach.

• Attend all course sessions included with the training
• Watch and reflect on all pre-recorded material associated with the training 
• Successfully take at least 3 practicum clients through the entire Calling in “The One” process, while receiving weekly supervision from your Faculty Coach
• Complete all assignments/worksheets as indicated 
• Complete all required reading
• Pass the open-book exam
• Sign the Intellectual Property Agreement

Certifications will be awarded via email download (High Resolution PDF) within 90 days of all certification requirements being met.

This course is designed for LMFTs, LCSWs, psychologists, professional coaches and/or other purpose-driven professionals in unrelated fields who wish to expand their personal development expertise, master future focused transformative techniques and develop a successful relationship coaching practice.

If you are accepted into the training, you have the option of paying in full or choosing between 6 and 12-month payment plans. If you choose to take advantage of a payment plan, then you are required to keep your credit card details up-to-date and contact us in advance of any change in information. If you are late with a payment, a $50 administration fee will be added for each late payment and your training may be placed on hold until you are current with your payments.

Katherine Woodward Thomas, M.A., LMFT License #047057 is offering CE’s through the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist, this course meets the qualifications for 60 hours of continuing education for LMFT’s, LCSW’s, LPCC’s, and/or LEP’s as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

If you are interested in receiving CEs, you must let us know at the start of the course, so that we can set up your training in a way that allows us to monitor your participation. You will only receive CEs for the modules you attend and/or listen to the recording of and submit a reflection paper for. Failure to inform us at the start of the program that you wish to qualify for CEs may result in the inability to provide you with the CEs you may have otherwise been eligible for. There is an extra course fee of $480, should you want this credit.

Only classrooms listed as required are eligible for CE’s. CE’s will not be provided for optional classrooms.
